“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. It is the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”
Sharon Hansen – Practice Administrator
Sharon began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant and later attained her dental hygiene license through the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has accumulated over 30 years of experience in her dental career. Though she enjoyed her time as an assistant as well hygienist, she says she enjoys the practice/office management area the most!
Her past-times include tennis, walking, horseback riding, kayaking and scuba diving! Along with those she loves to travel! Some of her most recent trips include Cozumel and Roatan! Her favorite location is Cozumel, Mexico.
“Naming what I like about being here is easy. It’s the group of people I work with. I often hear Kathy, Dr. Reynolds wife; use the expression “we’re family here”. I believe our patients can sense the camaraderie in the atmosphere. Sharing a work day with others who help make it enjoyable is the ultimate in job satisfaction!”
Brittney Parker, RDA- Business Manager
Brittney is a registered dental assistant and has been in the dental field for 12 years. Her clinical knowledge is a tremendous resource when working with dental insurance companies on behalf of our patients. She has two young sons, Braxton and Brody, who are the joy of her life. They are both active in baseball which keeps her extremely busy.
Brittney enjoys being on the lake, playing baseball with the boys and going to football games (her favorite team is the Vols). She is especially fond of golf!
“Dr. Reynolds and the staff have made me feel very welcomed and more like family. I hear patients say what wonderful staff Dr. Reynolds has and I would agree that when you come in, they make you feel like you’re a part of their family. It is so comforting to spend your day working with a great team.”
Kathy Reynolds, RDH – Dental Hygienist
Kathy, Dr. Reynolds’s wife, is part of our dental team. She received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 1979. She began working for Dr. Reynolds shortly after they married in 1987. She has the distinct honor of becoming his FIRST hygienist. Her service as his hygienist was altered as she devoted her time to raising their three children. But her love of her career kept her involved as a substitute staff member through those child rearing years. Her interest includes her family (especially the grandchildren), spending time at the lake, golfing and staying involved with her church.
“We have always remained a family practice, even after J. A. received his Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I am very proud of this as ‘Doc’ and I have always loved the relationships we have made and sustained with our patients. They are more like extended family! We are so very blessed to care for their smiles.”
Tammy Parisi, RDH – Dental Hygienist
Maintaining that beautiful smile is a passion of our dental hygienist, Tammy Parisi. Joining Dr. Reynolds team in 1993 as a dental assistant, Tammy later received her Dental Hygiene degree from Tennessee State University in Nashville.
Tammy also obtained her license as a Licensed Massage Therapist through Cumberland Institute. She and her husband, Ray, have twin daughters, Erika & Paige, and a son, Zachary.
“Working here allows me to practice with confidence. As a hygienist I see things the average person does not. And I know quality dentistry when I see it! When a patient is in need of some type of treatment, it is gratifying to know that when they return to see Dr. Reynolds for the procedure, they will receive the absolute BEST!”
Alyssa Mari, RDH-Dental Hygienist
Alyssa is a graduate of Tennessee State University and obtained her B. S. in Dental Hygiene is 2010. She is proud to be a native Tennessean and equally proud to call Donelson her hometown. She and her husband, Paul, have enjoyed 18 years of marriage and their two teenage children keep her busy! Alyssa’s interest include devoting time to her church and family, antique shopping, fishing and yard work. And though she has run well over a dozen half marathons, 3 Ragnar races and numerous 5 and 10k’s she prefers simply walking these days!
“I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the Franklin Smiles team. I enjoy my job and enjoy helping my patients achieve good oral hygiene! Loving what I do and who I do it with makes me a happy person!”
Daidre Badeaux-Burch, RDA/CDA, Dental Assistant
Daidre graduated in 2009 from Spokane Community College as a Registered and Certified Dental Assistant. She says one of the highlights of her dental assisting career was being able to work for a year in Australia. She says it was a valuable time for gaining experience in her field.
She and her husband, John, relocated to Franklin, TN in October 2015. They enjoy traveling and yearly snowboarding trips.
“I’m very grateful to have found this dental office. I feel welcomed by Dr. Reynolds and his staff. I have to say that working with such good people makes coming to work each day a joy. And seeing them treat their patients with the same kindness and honesty makes it feel like a real family!”
