Franklin, TN All-on-4 Dental Implants

A certain quantity of bone is required for placing traditional fixed-implant dentures. In cases where a patient’s jawbone has already deteriorated considerably, traditional overdentures may not be an option without bone grafting. To help patients avoid having to undergo bone grafting, Dr. Weber is able to place implant overdentures with the All-on-4 technique.

The screws and abutments are angled in a specific way. This technique involves the use of four implants that are angled in a very specific way so as to make the best use of the bone quantity available for maximum stability. Note the precise angling and positioning of the fixtures and abutments in the diagram at left of a fixed-implant denture being attached onto four implants.

Are You a Candidate?

While the All-on-4 technique isn’t for everyone, it may be a good fit for you. When you come in for a dental exam, Dr. Weber will perform scans of your teeth, gums, and jaw in order to tell which implant solution is right for your situation.

Our Process

If you are a candidate for All-on-4 dental implants, Dr. Weber will refer you to a surgeon who will implant the four fixtures needed to support your overdentures. You will be given a temporary denture to wear while you wait three months for osseointegration that will fuse bone to the implants.

You will also have a smile design appointment with Dr. Weber. You may opt to bring along photos of smiles that inspire you. With your ideal image in mind, Dr. Weber will design a unique smile that meets your image aspirations and best supports your natural facial aesthetics. He’ll use a digital mock-up to give you an idea of how it will look on you. When you’re completely happy with your new smile, Dr. Weber will direct the laboratory technician to custom-make your new teeth for you.

If you’d like, Dr. Weber will use our in-house 3D printer to create a trial denture that you can wear home. When your finished denture arrives from the lab, Dr. Weber will attach it so you can begin enjoying the benefits of a beautiful smile that fits securely.
